A Portable, Battery-Powered ESP32 IoT Development Terminal
The LILYGO TTGO T-Controller(also known as the T-Lion) is a versatile, self-contained ESP32 development board tailored for portable smart home controllers, handheld terminals, and wireless IoT nodes. Powered by theESP32-WROVERmodule, it pairs$4\text{ MB}$of SPI Flash memory with a generous$8\text{ MB}$of pseudo-static RAM (PSRAM), making it capable of handling resource-intensive microPython or C++ applications, local web servers, and complex graphical interfaces. Its integrated0.96-inch monochrome OLED display($128 \times 64$resolution) provides immediate visual feedback, while a dedicated 5-way navigation joystick/button (Up, Down, Left, Right, Select) allows for easy menu navigation directly on the unit.
What sets this board apart is its integrated mobile power solution built right onto the backside of the PCB. Featuring an onboard18650 lithium-ion battery holderalong with a dedicated charging circuit and power toggle switch, the T-Controller can run untethered for extended periods. Additional peripheral highlights include amicroSD (TF) card slotfor logging sensor data or storing UI assets, an onboard 3D Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna, and standard GPIO breakouts for attaching external components.
