Hifi Shield Plus
Audio Board
The Hifi Shield Plus board boasts RCA connectors and a 3.5mm stereo jack which are all gold-plated easily connects to an external amplifier and other audio devices. This board will work well with the ODROID-C2 / C1+. This is not compatible with the original ODROID-C1 though.
Burr-Brown supports 16, 24, 32-bit audio formats (-93dB) and ideal dynamics (110dB+) with sampling rates of 384kHz. The Hifi Shield Plus board has a dedicated interface that supports up to 192kHz/24 bit resolution via new Optical output. The following audio playback can be used: Volumio, RuneAudio or XBMC/Kodi for HiFi audio via the I2S expansion on the C2 / C1+ boards.

| 6. | This HiFi Shield Plus is partially functional on Android. The output format is fixed at 44.1Khz/16bit stereo due to limited AOSP audio HAL implementation. |
