801S Vibration Sensor
High-Sensitivity Motion Detection
The 801S Vibration Sensor is a specialized gold-plated sensing device designed for high-precision motion detection and security applications. Unlike standard vibration switches, the 801S features a unique internal structure that allows it to detect micro-shocks and movements across a wide frequency range. It operates on a wide voltage range, typically 3.3V to 5V, making it directly compatible with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and the Orange Pi series. The sensor is remarkably durable and features a non-directional sensing capability, ensuring it can trigger an alert regardless of the physical orientation of the impact.
Integrating the 3-Pin Module for Edge Intelligence
The 3-pin version of the 801S module simplifies integration by providing a Digital Output (DO), along with standard VCC and GND pins. This digital output remains high under stable conditions and transitions to a low state when a vibration exceeding the preset threshold is detected. Most modules include an onboard LM393 comparator and a precision potentiometer, allowing users to manually adjust the sensitivity levels to filter out background noise or minor environmental tremors. This makes the 801S an excellent choice for DIY anti-theft alarms, smart car impact logging, and industrial equipment health monitoring where detecting sudden mechanical stress is critical.
