CJMCU-3935 AS3935 Lightning Sensor Module
Detects lightning and estimates storm distance
This CJMCU breakout board carries the AS3935 Franklin lightning sensor IC. It detects the electromagnetic signature of lightning strikes and estimates the distance to the head of the storm, making it suitable for weather stations and storm-warning projects with Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi.
Key Features:
Detects cloud-to-ground and intra-cloud lightning
Estimates distance to the storm from about 40km down to 1km
Built-in algorithm to reject man-made disturbers
SPI and I2C interfaces
Interrupt output for lightning events
