Powered by the Renesas RA4M1 processor featuring an ARM Cortex-M4 core running at 48 MHz, the board delivers significantly faster processing, 256 KB of flash memory, and 32 KB of SRAM. This leap in performance makes it capable of handling complex math, real-time data processing, and lightweight embedded applications that previously exceeded the capabilities of the legacy 8-bit ATmega328P.
Designed as a modern baseline for makers and engineers, the R4 Minima introduces key hardware upgrades alongside traditional I/O features.
