Guition 2.8" ESP32 Smart Display Module (JC2432S028R)
The Original "Cheap Yellow Display" (CYD) Board with Built-In Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
The ESP32-2432S028R, affectionately dubbed the "Cheap Yellow Display" (CYD) by the maker community, is an all-in-one HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development board designed for rapid IoT prototyping. At its core lies the versatile ESP-WROOM-32 module, providing dual-core processing power alongside integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. By pairing the microcontroller directly onto the same PCB as a 2.8-inch TFT display, it eliminates the messy wiring, breadboards, and signal timing issues typical of standalone SPI screen modules.
Engineered specifically for custom smart home dashboards, LVGL graphics projects, and local control panels, the board comes packed with ready-to-use onboard peripherals. In addition to its 240x320 color screen with interactive resistive touch control, the board integrates a MicroSD card slot for asset storage, an onboard RGB indicator LED, a light-dependent resistor (LDR) for automatic backlight dimming, and audio output capabilities via an onboard amplifier header. It fully supports popular open-source platforms including Arduino IDE, ESPHome, MicroPython, and PlatformIO, making it a staple for home automation enthusiasts and embedded developers alike.
