Luckfox Pico Mini RV1103 Linux Micro Development Board
Ultra-Compact Edge AI Platform with ARM Cortex-A7, RISC-V MCU, and 0.5 TOPS NPU
The Luckfox Pico Mini RV1103 is an ultra-compact Linux micro development board engineered for space-constrained edge AI, robotics, and smart vision applications. Powered by the Rockchip RV1103 System-on-Chip (SoC), this tiny board packs a 32-bit ARM Cortex-A7 core, a secondary low-power RISC-V MCU, a 0.5 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU), and a dedicated 4MP Image Signal Processor (ISP) into a tiny 28 mm x 21 mm footprint.
Designed with castellated holes and immersion gold technology, it can be soldered directly onto carrier boards as a System-on-Module (SoM) or used on a breadboard with pin headers.
Key Feature Highlights
Dual-Core Heterogeneous Computing: Runs embedded Linux on an ARM Cortex-A7 core (1.2 GHz) while delegating real-time, low-power tasks to the auxiliary RISC-V MCU.
0.5 TOPS Edge AI NPU: Features Rockchip's 4th-generation NPU supporting INT4, INT8, and INT16 hybrid quantization to run models like YOLO, face recognition, and gesture detection locally.
4MP Vision & Encoding Pipeline: Includes an ISP with hardware-level HDR, noise reduction, and smart video compression (H.264/H.265/MJPEG) to reduce stream bandwidth by over 50%.
Ultra-Compact Form Factor: Measures just 28 mm x 21 mm, making it ideal for mini drones, wearable tech, and compact IoT sensors.
Flexible Storage Options: Choose between the Mini A (MicroSD boot) or Mini B (128MB onboard SPI NAND Flash for instant stand-alone booting).
